Description
The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking proposals for paratransit services, including door-to-door transportation for individuals with disabilities. The successful contractor will provide dedicated paratransit services and manage a fleet of county-owned vehicles. The contract will have a three-month mobilization period, followed by a five-year term with two one-year extensions. Proposers are encouraged to submit innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve services.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing paratransit services to individuals with disabilities, including ADA-compliant services and transportation for seniors and low-income individuals.
• The contractor will manage a fleet of county-owned vehicles and provide maintenance and repair services.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination.
• The contractor will be required to provide a drug-free workplace and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to drug abuse.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and bonding as specified in the contract.
