Description
The City of Lincolnton, Georgia is seeking proposals for landscape maintenance services for city streets, facilities, and miscellaneous landscaping work. The services to be rendered include street cleaning, grass maintenance, removal of trash from streets, holiday event cleaning, tree trimming, grit and trash removal from storm drains, landscape maintenance at various city-owned locations, maintenance of planting beds along city streets, and removal of curb-side yard waste. The contractor will be required to enter into a two-year agreement with the City of Lincolnton to render such services.
• The proposal must include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the labor.
• The City reserves the right to award parts of this contract to more than one firm.
• The contractor must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, if required, as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Lincolnton, Georgia.
• The Proposal Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Lincolnton, Georgia, as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds, if required, within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.
