Description

The County of Shasta is seeking proposals for the provision of short-term host homes as an intervention for youth who are currently experiencing homelessness. The goal of short-term host homes is to provide a safe, temporary, welcoming space for an average of six months where the young person, aged 18-24, has time to make decisions about other housing options with the support of a case manager. The selected responder will be required to provide services that are consistent with the Housing First model and will be expected to collaborate with other agencies in the community. The contract will be for a term of 24 months, and the County intends to use the Subrecipient Agreement as a template for the contract. • The selected responder will be required to provide short-term host homes for youth aged 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness. • The responder will be expected to provide services that are consistent with the Housing First model. • The responder will be required to collaborate with other agencies in the community. • The contract will be for a term of 24 months. • The County intends to use the Subrecipient Agreement as a template for the contract.
