ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE, REPAIRS AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR CHILD NUTRITION SERVICES EQUIPMENT

The Humble ISD is seeking contractors to provide electrical maintenance, repairs, and installation services for child nutrition services equipment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, transportation, testing, commissioning, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The scope of work includes installing new electrical panels, adding branch circuits for classroom technology, replacing interior and exterior lighting fixtures with LED fixtures, providing wiring and connections for HVAC equipment, upgrading electrical distribution equipment, installing emergency power connections, and removing and disposing of obsolete electrical equipment. The contractor shall verify field conditions before submitting pricing. The district intends to select the contractor providing the best value in accordance with the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. Some key factors that will be considered in the evaluation include total project cost, ability to meet the schedule, understanding of the scope, past performance under district contracts, quality of proposed solution, and best value to the district. • The contractor shall comply with all requirements of the awarded RFP contract, including proof of cost used for parts at current Award MSRP, insurance requirements, safety requirements, criminal history and background check requirements, Texas Education Code requirements, district security procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. • The contractor shall provide a pricing proposal, project schedule, proposed project team, and exceptions list. • The district reserves the right to negotiate scope, pricing, and schedule with one or more awarded contractors.
