Description
The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a contractor to provide trash collection services for the Missouri Eastern Correctional Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing trash receptacles, collecting trash on a scheduled basis, and disposing of the trash in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The contractor must be registered in the MissouriBUYS system and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxes, and environmental protection.
Some key requirements of the contract include:
* Providing trash receptacles and collecting trash on a scheduled basis
* Disposing of trash in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
* Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxes, and environmental protection
* Registering in the MissouriBUYS system
* Providing a valid Missouri driver's license for each person attending a site tour
* Not interacting with offenders except as necessary to perform the requirements of the contract
* Not giving anything to or accepting anything from offenders except in the normal performance of the contract
