Description
The City of North Pole, Alaska, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to expand and upgrade its municipal water infrastructure. The project includes installing approximately 181,000 liner feet of HDPE pre‑insulated arctic pipe, upgrading the water treatment plant, constructing a new pump house, building a 750,000‑gallon potable water reservoir, and modifying an existing pump house. All labor, equipment, and materials are required, and proposals are to be submitted electronically via Submittal Exchange.
• Install ~181,000 ft of HDPE pre‑insulated arctic pipe water mains
• Upgrade water treatment facilities and add new pump house and 750k‑gal reservoir
• Perform related civil works, including modifications to existing pump house
• Provide all labor, equipment, and materials; electronic submission required
• Pre‑bid meeting and site visit on November 2 2017 (non‑mandatory)
