Sources Sought Gravel and Ready Mix

The US Air Force is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide gravel and ready-mix concrete for a project at Hurlburt Field, FL. The project requires 520 tons of DOT #57 gravel and 275 cubic yards of 4000 PSI REG ready-mix concrete. The delivery location is Hurlburt Field, FL 32544, and the gravel must be delivered before the ready-mix concrete. Interested parties are invited to submit a written reply of not more than five pages, addressing each of the requirements listed above. • The project requires gravel that meets road building requirements and ensures cohesiveness with the road underlayment and overall project. • The project requires ready-mix concrete with a 4-inch to 5-inch slump. • The delivery distance shall exceed 100 miles from Hurlburt Field, FL. • The contractor must be capable of meeting the required delivery sequencing (gravel delivered prior to concrete).
