Splash Pad Surface Rehabilitation and Tile Removal at Ashley River Park

The County of Dorchester is soliciting bids for the refurbishment of the splash pad surface at Ashley River Park. The project includes tile removal and concrete reconstruction of the river feature. The contractor must have prior experience installing splash pad or aquatic surface coating systems. The project requires an accelerated schedule, with substantial completion to be achieved within 10 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. • The contractor shall address all cracks, spalling, and surface defects • The contractor shall pressure wash and clean the entire splash pad • The contractor shall mechanically prepare the surface as required for adhesion • The contractor shall protect splash pad jets and equipment • The contractor shall mask and protect adjacent surfaces, landscaping, walls, fences, and structures • The contractor shall remove the existing decorative "river" tile feature and restore the splash pad surface to a single continuous coated concrete surface
