Truck for CDL Program

The Coastal Carolina Community College is soliciting a new truck for its CDL program. The truck should have an extended 7-year warranty and towing package. The college provides several CDL courses throughout the year and needs a vehicle that can meet the existing demand. The truck should be delivered to the college's location in Jacksonville, NC. The vendor should be authorized by the manufacturer to distribute or resell the products and/or maintenance offered in this IFB. • The truck should have a powertrain extended warranty, chassis and frame extended warranty, and 7-year towing. • The vendor should provide a signed statement from the manufacturer confirming authorization. • The truck should have electronic cruise control, air ride cab, and exterior and interior grab handles. • The vehicle should meet the applicable requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. • The vendor should provide at least three references for which the company has supplied the exact model of equipment offered.
