Water Main Interconnection

The Town of Berlin is seeking proposals for the installation of 2300 LF of new 12” ductile iron water main and a pressure reducing/meter vault. The successful bidder will be expected to provide industry standard or higher quality services while maintaining a focus on providing a cost-effective service to the Town. The scope of services includes the installation of the water main and vault, as well as sedimentation control systems, erosion and sediment control measures, and maintenance and protection of traffic. • The project requires the installation of 2300 LF of new 12” ductile iron water main and a pressure reducing/meter vault. • The project includes sedimentation control systems, erosion and sediment control measures, and maintenance and protection of traffic. • The successful bidder will be expected to provide industry standard or higher quality services while maintaining a focus on providing a cost-effective service to the Town. • The project requires the bidder to have demonstrated experience and expertise in Connecticut in the past 3 years successfully performing the types of services outlined in the introduction. • The project requires the bidder to have a proven track record successfully providing these types of services for similarly sized municipal governments, preferably in Connecticut.
