Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking bids for on-call moving and modular systems furniture services in California. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform the services, including the assembly, disassembly, and transportation of various furniture, moving of Information Technology (IT) equipment, goods, and materials to and/or from Caltrans. The services will be performed on an as-needed basis, and the contractor will be required to respond to service requests within a specified timeframe. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and the contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Caltrans policies.

• Providing on-call moving and modular systems furniture services
• Assembling, disassembling, and transporting furniture and IT equipment
• Responding to service requests within a specified timeframe
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and Caltrans policies
• Possessing a valid and current C61/D34 (Prefabricated Equipment Contractor) license
• Possessing a valid and current Household Goods Carrier (HGC) permit
• Possessing a valid and current Forklift Operator Certificate
• Possessing a valid and current Motor Carrier Permit
• Registering with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR)
