Description
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is seeking to procure laboratory equipment service warranties and software maintenance from a single source. The required services include annual maintenance and calibration of the FARO Focus Premium laser scanner, as well as software updates and support for the FARO Scene and FARO Zone 3D software. The equipment and software are used in FDLE's crime laboratories to analyze crime-related specimens and must be properly serviced and maintained to ensure they remain in operable condition. The intended single source for this procurement is Faro Technologies, Inc.
• The services are required for a period of 5 years, from 7/1/26 to 6/30/31.
• The estimated dollar amount for this procurement is $250,000.00.
• The FDLE's crime labs are required to use validated processes, and maintaining accurate, reliable instrumentation supports the strength and consistency of those validated workflows.
