Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for commercial construction services to renovate Sterile Processing Service (SPS) spaces at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. The project includes demolition and renovation of approximately 3,859 gross square feet of SPS spaces, upgrades to support three sterilizers, washers, and a cart washer, SPS-dedicated AHU-31 upgrade, installation of a new reverse osmosis (RO) tank, and associated increases in steam and chilled water distribution lines. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials required to complete the project. The period of performance is 360 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
• The project requires a firm-fixed-price contract using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures.
• The contractor must submit technical and price volumes by the submission deadline.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond.
• The contractor must have a verified SDVOSB status through the SBA VetCert program.
