Fuel Oil Storage Tanks Cleaning

The project involves cleaning the inside of the PORT and STBD Engineered Safeguards Diesel-Generator Fuel Oil Storage Tanks on a Moored Training Ship (MTS) Submarine located at Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU), Goose Creek, SC 29445. The contractor will be responsible for pumping down the tanks, removing fuel oil, cleaning the tanks, and disposing of waste. The contractor must also provide gas free services and ensure that the tanks are safe for entry and visual inspections. The project requires compliance with various regulations, including OSHA and Navy security protocols. • The contractor must have the necessary security clearances and follow all safety protocols. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the project. • The contractor must ensure that all work is done in accordance with the contract and applicable regulations. • The contractor must provide a report to the government detailing the work completed and any issues that arose during the project.
