Digester No. 2 Cleaning and Condition Assessment Project

The Valley Sanitary District is seeking a contractor to perform cleaning and condition assessment of Digester No. 2 at their Water Reclamation Facility. The project includes confined space entry, removal and disposal of accumulated sludge, grit, and debris, pressure washing of internal surfaces, and coordination with facility staff to safely clean and prepare the digester for inspection and future operation. The contractor will also provide access, coordination, temporary facilities, safety measures, ventilation, lighting, and support necessary for the District, engineer, and District-selected structural and/or specialty engineering firm(s) to perform an interior and exterior condition assessment of the digester. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference on February 18, 2026, at 10:00 am. • The contractor must comply with prevailing wage rates and DIR contractor registration requirements. • The project includes a 4-day agency-provided condition assessment. • The contractor must provide a report summarizing all cleaning activities and test results.
