Steel Distribution Poles

The Board of Water and Light (BWL) is seeking proposals for the procurement of two custom steel distribution poles. The proposal documents include a notice to bidders, instructions to bidders, addenda, scope of work, and terms and conditions for materials. Bidders are required to submit their proposals in full accordance with the proposal documents, and the BWL reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The evaluation of proposals will consider factors such as responsiveness, price, time of completion, exceptions to the proposal documents, financial stability, and recent and past experience. • The BWL will not furnish any labor, facilities, services, utilities, materials, equipment, or supplies unless specifically stated in the proposal documents. • Bidders are responsible for assessing and determining the availability of necessary labor and materials. • The contract price shall be equal to the proposal price adjusted to any price changes as agreed upon in writing by the bidder and the BWL. • The BWL may enter into private negotiations with the selected bidder(s) for further scrutiny. • The BWL reserves the right to cancel the entire RFP at any time prior to full execution of a contract between both parties.
