Wireless Local Area Network Upgrade (WLAN)-Secondary Schools & Ancillary Sites

The Topeka Public Schools is seeking proposals for a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) upgrade for its secondary schools and ancillary sites. The project includes the installation of new access points, project management, and equipment liquidation. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary hardware, software, and services to complete the project. The proposal should include a technical proposal, cost proposal, company history, and organization, as well as any other relevant information. • The project requires the installation of 1,083 access points for instructional facilities and 138 access points for non-instructional facilities. • The vendor must provide project management services for both instructional and non-instructional facilities. • The vendor must also provide equipment liquidation services for aging equipment. • The proposal must include a bid bond of 5% if the bid is $100,000 or more. • The vendor must comply with all federal and state laws, including the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. • The vendor must also comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
