The Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a modest interior renovation of the staff lounge at Regency Park Elementary School. The work includes selective demolition, new casework and sink installation, plumbing and trenching, flooring and finish repairs, interior paint and ceiling‑tile replacement, and restoration of all disturbed surfaces to match existing conditions. The contract is valued at approximately $55,000 and will be awarded under California’s RFQ procedures for projects under $75,000, with a 55‑day performance period once a Notice to Proceed is issued.
• Replace existing casework and install a new staff‑lounge sink with all necessary water and drainage connections.
• Perform selective demolition, saw‑cutting, and trenching; patch and repair flooring and finish materials to blend with existing conditions.
• Update interior finishes – paint, ceiling tiles, signage, and any minor repairs – and ensure all work meets California accessibility and building code requirements.
• Provide all required documentation (bond, insurance, DIR registration, prevailing‑wage certified payroll, drug‑free and asbestos‑free certifications).
• Complete the project within 55 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for delays.
