Description
The Medford School District 549C is seeking a Professional of Record to provide special inspections for trusses across large span spaces district-wide. The selected firm will be responsible for visually examining long-span timber trusses and glulam beams, identifying signs of deterioration or damage, and providing recommendations for inspection procedures and re-inspection intervals. The firm will also be required to deliver a written report of findings and recommendations, as well as a PDF mark-up of the roof identifying roof slopes and locations of drain bodies.

• The District is seeking a Professional of Record (an Architect/Engineer team) to provide special inspections for trusses.
• The selected firm will be responsible for identifying signs of deterioration or damage and providing recommendations for inspection procedures and re-inspection intervals.
• The firm will be required to deliver a written report of findings and recommendations, as well as a PDF mark-up of the roof.
• The District reserves the right to reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements.
• The selection process will be conducted pursuant to the terms of the RFP and the Oregon Attorney General's Model Rules for Consultant Selection.
• Compensation will be based on a total “not-to-exceed” amount for services and reimbursable expenses.
