UNH Health and Wellness Building Elevator Upgrade

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking a qualified contractor to upgrade the single oil‑hydraulic elevator serving the Health & Wellness Building at the University of New Hampshire. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, installation of new control and power units, cab interior upgrades, door operators, wiring, and all associated testing, commissioning, and documentation. The project must be completed within a tight construction window in the summer of 2026 and will require bonding, insurance, and compliance with university and state regulations. • Remove existing elevator components and install new hydraulic/electrical systems per the attached technical specifications. • Provide all labor, materials, transportation, insurance, temporary protection, supervision, and testing required for full operational certification. • Deliver complete record drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, training, and close‑out documentation; maintain a one‑year warranty on the installed equipment. • Meet mandatory pre‑bid site walk on March 26, 2026 and submit a sealed bid by April 8, 2026; furnish a 5 % bid bond, performance and payment bonds, and required insurance. • Coordinate with UNH Facilities Project Management and the design professional (Elevator Consulting Associates) throughout the construction schedule (May 25 – July 31, 2026).
