Description
The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the Sabattus Street Storm Drain Replacement project. The work includes furnishing and installing materials, labor, and equipment necessary to resurface or rehabilitate streets or roads, including utility cover adjustments, water gate box lowering and raising, tack coat, shim, and overlay; driveway preparation and lawn and driveway restoration; pavement removal, common excavation, aggregate base gravel; erosion and traffic control and cleanup. The project requires a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond will also be required of the successful bidder.
