Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a professional services contractor to provide design and construction administration services for the Baraga Correctional Facility's emergency generator and electrical infrastructure upgrade. The project includes several phases, including preliminary design, final design, construction administration, and field inspection services. The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete design based on the approved project/program statement and for assuming responsibility for all professional services offered in their proposal. The state reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, received because of this Request for Proposals.
• The project requires the contractor to have demonstrated experience in the successful planning and execution of similar projects in full accordance with all applicable Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• The contractor must provide a complete, straightforward response to this Request for Proposal, including a technical proposal and a cost proposal.
• The contractor must submit a signed Certification of a Michigan Based Business and the Responsibility Certification forms.
• The state will reimburse the contractor for the actual cost of printing and reproduction of project deliverables, soil borings, site surveys, and any required laboratory testing services.
