Description
The South Carolina Department of Transportation District 1 is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds‑maintenance services for its engineering office in Columbia. The contract is a fixed‑price, lump‑sum agreement covering mowing, edging, weed and pest control, fertilization, mulching, and upkeep of paved areas and fences. The base term is one year with the option to renew up to four additional one‑year periods, for a maximum duration of five years. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Full‑service landscape maintenance (grass, shrub, bed, mulch, weed, insect and fire‑ant control).
• Monthly invoicing with twelve equal installments; electronic funds transfer payment.
• Mandatory insurance, state vendor registration, and compliance with SCDOT safety and reporting requirements.
