Straubel Wright Apartments Boiler Replacement

The City of Madison Community Development Authority is seeking bids for the replacement of boilers at Straubel Wright Apartments. The project involves furnishing and installing new high-efficiency boilers, domestic water heaters, and associated equipment. The contractor will be responsible for demolishing and disposing of the existing boilers and equipment, as well as providing startup and commissioning services. The project must comply with Wisconsin State Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code, Electrical Code, and applicable local regulations. • The project requires the replacement of six boilers and six domestic water heaters. • The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, permits, testing, startup services, demolition, disposal, and incidental items necessary to complete the project. • The contractor must field verify all existing conditions prior to bidding and be fully responsible for providing a complete and operational system. • The project includes testing and commissioning of the new equipment, as well as providing owner training and operational familiarization for CDA maintenance staff.
