Description
The County of Inyo is seeking a qualified firm to provide landfill engineering and environmental consulting services for various regulatory and mandated projects. The scope of work includes providing on-call structural, geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical, surveying, and support services, as well as designing landfill modules and covers, landfill gas collection and control systems, and groundwater remediation systems. The selected firm will also be responsible for evaluating monitoring programs, conducting engineering feasibility studies, and implementing corrective action programs. The contract term is expected to be from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2031.
• Landfill module and cover design
• Landfill gas collection and control system design
• Groundwater remediation system design
• Evaluation monitoring program design and implementation
• Engineering feasibility studies
• Corrective action program design and implementation
• Remediation system(s) efficacy studies
• Landfill tipping fee studies and implementation
• Landfill-specific regulatory document preparation, revision, and review
• Various regulatory agency reports required as a result of regulations, studies, orders, or violations
