Notice of Intent to Sole Source (MURS Upgrade)

The objective of the MURS SLEP is to upgrade the fleet of aging MURS systems to MURS 3.0, an advanced mobile radiation detection, identification, and source localization system. The system offers urban threat detection, identification, and tracking with actionable information through high-resolution contextual imagery and interactive urban maps. The key features of the MURS 3.0 system include: • Advanced mobile radiation detection, identification, and source localization • Day/night contextual imaging and internal navigation subsystems • Urban threat detection, identification, and tracking with actionable information • High-resolution contextual imagery and interactive urban maps • Improved size, weight, power consumption, reliability, and modularity This opportunity is for the upgrade of the MURS systems, and the selected vendor will be responsible for providing the MURS 3.0 systems that meet the specified requirements.
