Workers' Compensation Third-Party Administration Services

The City of Cincinnati is seeking a qualified third‑party administrator to manage its self‑insured workers’ compensation program and operate a comprehensive return‑to‑work service. The contractor must provide end‑to‑end claims processing, a robust pharmacy‑benefit‑manager solution (including drug‑rebate pass‑through and specialty drug handling), expertise in Ohio firefighter cancer claims, and performance‑guaranteed fee structures. Additional responsibilities include tele‑nurse case management, SOC‑1 reporting, Medicare/Medicaid reporting, data‑security notifications, and full support of the city’s RTW program (telephonic nurse case management, functional capacity evaluations, transitional work plans, and ongoing monitoring).
