Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Steris Corporation - Sterilizer Repair/Upgrade

The Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor is seeking a contractor to repair and upgrade two Steris sterilizers, model HC-900 and HC-1200, located in the Sterile Processing Department. The contractor shall provide all necessary services, materials, and equipment to return the HC-900 to operational status and upgrade the HC-1200 to ensure it remains operational. The scope of work includes labor, travel, and parts to repair and/or upgrade the equipment. The contractor shall perform all maintenance as stated in the official quote provided by the vendor. Some key requirements include: • Perform services stated in quotes provided by the vendor • Ensure that only fully qualified field engineers and technicians employed by Steris shall be employed in the performance of all work • Make repairs and complete upgrades to the extent necessary to ensure a functional system • Provide only the work necessary to complete the work stated in the quotes provided by the vendor • Ensure that original design and functional capabilities will not be changed, modified, or altered unless authorized by the Medical Repair Branch
