Request for Proposal for On-Call Inspection and Construction Management Services

The City of King is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering firms to provide On-Call Inspection and Construction Management Services. The City is interested in generating a list of qualified consultants specializing in this type of work to draw from as needed. The scope of services includes construction inspection services and construction management services on an as-needed, on-call basis for projects to be determined during the term of the agreement. The City has received multiple grants to design and construct various projects, but lacks sufficient staff to inspect and manage the construction phase adequately. Some of the upcoming construction projects include the 2025 CDBG Pavement Rehabilitation Project, Golf Course Renovation Project, and San Lorenzo Streetscape Project. • The Consultant shall provide construction inspection services on an as-needed, on-call basis for projects to be determined during the term of the agreement. • The Consultant shall provide construction management services on an as-needed, on-call basis for projects to be determined during the term of the agreement. • The work may include overseeing construction and post-construction, regular communication with City staff, attending project meetings, and coordinating with engineering consultants, other agencies, and utility companies.
