Intent to Award Sole Source - Metacomp Technologies

The United States Air Force intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price order to Metacomp Technologies, Inc. for the renewal of licenses for Metacomp CFD++ and MIME software. The software is used to analyze the aerodynamic and combustion processes associated with high-speed flight. The contract period will run for 12 months. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing software licenses for Metacomp CFD++ and MIME • Analyzing aerodynamic and combustion processes for high-speed flight • Supporting in-house research within the Air Force Research Laboratory, High Speed Systems Division • Meeting the product characteristics specified by the Air Force The Air Force is seeking a sole source contract, but all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered for determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement or a small business set-aside competitive procurement.
