The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is soliciting a single‑source provider to perform comprehensive armored‑car services statewide. The contractor will collect, secure, and transport cash, coin, and related revenue items from all Turnpike and Parkway toll collection points to the Authority’s central counting facility, maintain armored vehicles and vaults, and provide daily reporting and emergency response. The contract includes strict insurance, security, and compliance requirements, a three‑year base term with two optional one‑year extensions, and substantial record‑keeping and audit obligations.
• Provide two armored vehicles per roadway (Turnpike + Parkway) plus two reserve vehicles, staffed by armed personnel with valid firearm permits.
• Collect and deliver money bags and vaults daily (Turnpike 07:00‑14:00, Parkway 09:00‑14:00), submit daily route and status reports, and respond to emergency pickups within 4 hours.
• Maintain extensive insurance coverage (CGL $2 M per occurrence, professional liability $4 M, automobile liability $2 M, theft $4 M, umbrella $3 M) and submit certificates prior to service commencement.
• Retain all project records for at least five years, provide quarterly financial statements, and comply with NJTA’s equal‑employment, affirmative‑action, and anti‑foreign‑investment certifications.
