HVAC system replacement

The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is seeking a contractor to replace the existing HVAC systems at The Millenium Residence, Tower A and B, with Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems. The contractor will be responsible for surveying the site, providing a replacement design, and installing the new system. The contract type will be firm-fixed price, and the duration of the work shall be 30 calendar days per unit. The contractor must provide a project proposal, including a single-line schematic, basic room layout, and detailed cost proposal. The Embassy may select the contractor with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) bid. Some key requirements include: • Providing materials and labor for the HVAC system replacement • Ensuring the new system meets the required cooling capacity and Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) • Providing a one-year warranty for parts and labor • Ensuring all work conforms to local and U.S. codes and standards • Providing training for Embassy employees on the new system • Labeling all piping circuits and providing spare parts
