Workstations/Desks for Radiology

The University of Iowa is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to provide workstations, also known as specialty desks, designed and created for use in Radiology Labs/Offices. The workstations must be uniquely designed to support diagnostic imaging, with features such as integrated lighting systems, advanced cable/power management, and digital touch controls. The supplier must also provide full turnkey services, including receiving and unloading, unboxing, assembly/install, and cleanup work area. The University is initially requesting 35 Radiology Desks, each with specific requirements. • The workstations must be designed to support diagnostic imaging and fit the design of the space. • The workstations must have integrated lighting systems designed to reduce eye strain during diagnostic imaging interpretation. • The workstations must have advanced cable/power management with recessed data hubs with USB-C, and long extension cables to ensure full monitor mobility without disconnect risk. • The workstations must have digital touch controls and readouts with height presets and lockout, improving ergonomics while preventing unintentional changes. • The workstations must have integrated wireless charging, CPU holders, telephone arm, and USB hubs to optimize radiologist workflow. • The workstations must have a lifetime structural warranty and 10-year electrical warranty, with installation performed exclusively by trained installers to ensure compliance and longevity.
