IT- MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer Services

The Ohio Department of Commerce is seeking quotes for FY26 and FY27 for various OPSWAT MetaDefender licenses to provide a secure solution for managed file transfer services. The project aims to mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with the use of portable storage devices and to retire the legacy FileDrop application. The selected vendor will be required to comply with the State's IT Security Policies and Standards, as well as federal information security management act (FISMA) requirements. The key aspects of the project include: • Deployment of two OPSWAT MetaDefender security hubs (Cybersafe Hubs) at the Riffe Center and the State Fire Marshal site • Deployment of OPSWAT MetaDefender Endpoint Plus agents on field users' PCs • Provision of a secure file transfer application as a replacement for FileDrop • Compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 (NIST 800-53) and International Organization for Standardization 27001 (ISO 27001) • Implementation of information security policies, standards, and capabilities to protect Contract Data • Maintenance of an information security program to protect Contract Data against unauthorized loss, destruction, alteration, access, or disclosure • Adherence to the State's Data Security and Privacy Terms • Cooperation with the State's efforts to monitor compliance with the foregoing obligations The project is expected to run from the contract award date through June 30, 2026, with the possibility of renewal for FY27.
