Revvity Health Sciences Reagent Rental

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is seeking to procure reagent rental services from Revvity Health Sciences, Inc. for the Newborn Screening Program. The program requires the use of Revvity instruments, reagents, and supplies to complete testing. The sole source justification is based on the fact that Revvity is the only vendor that can supply the required goods and services. The program has conducted research and has been unable to identify another vendor that can provide similar services. • The contract term is for 2 years, starting from 02/15/2026 and ending on 02/14/2028. • The estimated dollar amount for the project is $5,000,000.00. • The program requires the use of Revvity instruments, reagents, and supplies due to the need for compatibility and validation to meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) requirements. • The vendor has been providing services to the program since 2008 and has been the sole source for reagent rental services. • The program has evaluated other vendors but has been unable to find a suitable alternative.
