Description
The contract is for the repair of the Capitol West Stairs and Surrounding Landings at the Iowa State Capitol. The project includes replacement of granite stairs, granite pavers, painting, sealants, metals, signage, tuckpointing, and concrete pavement. The construction is anticipated to begin on September 22, 2025, and end on June 30, 2026. The bid process was conducted through the IMPACS Electronic Procurement System, and the Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• The project is exempt from Iowa Sales Tax.
• Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project.
• Bidders must comply with all affirmative action/equal employment opportunity provisions of the State of Iowa and the Federal Government.
