Description
The Granite School District is seeking a general contractor or concrete contractor to install spot footings at Douglas Orchard Elementary School. The contract includes the installation of new concrete spot footings and column piers, replacement of concrete walkway, and selective demolition and removal of existing concrete slab. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform the work. The contract is expected to start on September 20, 2024, and be completed within 40 calendar days. The contractor must provide proof of insurance, maintain a safe work area, and comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• The contract requires the contractor to provide a bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the bid.
• The contractor must submit a list of subcontractors and their licensing classification.
• The contract includes a warranty period of at least 12 months from the date of discovery of any defects.
• The contractor must abide by all federal, state, and local laws, including employment laws and building codes.
