Description
The City of Jefferson, Missouri, is seeking an airport engineering consultant to provide services for various airfield development projects at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing engineering services, including design, bidding, and construction phases, as well as incidental special services. The contract has a five-year term, and the consultant will be required to provide services on an as-needed basis. The contract is subject to federal rules and regulations, and the consultant must comply with FAA and MoDOT design and construction standards.
• The contract includes projects such as construction of a new Air Traffic Control Tower, reconstruction of Alpha South Taxiway and Alpha North Lighting, and construction of an SRE/ARFF building.
• The consultant must provide a statement of qualifications, experience, references, and an affidavit of compliance with Section 285.525-285.550 RSMo.
• The contract is subject to a qualification-based selection process, and the selection criteria include recent experience in airport projects, capability to perform all aspects of the project, and ability to meet schedules within budget.
• The consultant must not include fee or cost information when responding to the solicitation, and fees will be negotiated for projects as federal funds become available.
