Inmate Transport and Security Services

This contract is for inmate transport and security services provided by Homeland Security Protective Service, Inc. to Jackson County, Missouri. The contract includes services such as transporting inmates to and from detention centers, hospitals, and court appearances, as well as providing security during these transports. The contract has a term of 12 months with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. The pricing for the services includes a transport hourly rate of $50.00 per hour per officer, a layover hourly rate of $50.00 per hour per officer, and a cancellation charge of $50.00 per hour per officer with a 2-hour minimum. • The contract includes a fuel surcharge based on the current fuel prices. • The vendor is responsible for providing qualified personnel to perform the services. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The contract includes a non-solicitation agreement for the duration of the initial 12-month period. • The county has the right to cancel the contract with reasonable notice. • The vendor must provide itemized invoices every 30 days and payments will be made every 30 days upon receipt of invoice.
