EGGS AND EGG RELATED PRODUCTS

This contract is for the provision of eggs and egg-related products to the County of Orange. The contract has a firm fixed fee of $1,950,000 for the initial three-year term. The contractor, Country Eggs, LLC, will provide whole, fresh, shell eggs and chilled, liquid egg mix products that meet the requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the California Retail Food Code. The contractor will deliver the products to various locations in Orange County, including the Central Men's Jail, James A. Musick Facility, and Theo Lacy Facility. The contract includes provisions for payment, invoicing, and auditing. • The contract has a term of 5 years, with an option for renewal. • The contractor is responsible for delivering products that meet the requirements of the USDA and the California Retail Food Code. • The contractor will provide detailed nutritional information for all products. • The contractor will deliver products in a mechanically refrigerated truck that holds a temperature of 41-45°F. • The contractor will package products in accordance with the USDA general requirements. • The contractor will provide an invoice for each delivery, including the contract number, product description, quantity, and price.
