The City of Temple is seeking a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMAR) for the interior renovations of two separate projects: the Wilson Park Recreation Center and the Sammons Community Center. The city will evaluate proposals to determine the best value for the city for each project. The city may award both projects to one firm or to two independent firms.
• The CMAR will be responsible for pre-construction phase services, general condition fees, and construction phase fees.
• The city has contracted Architectural Edge of Temple as the design professionals for both projects.
• A voluntary pre-proposal conference and tour were held on January 5, 2016.
• The city received several proposals from different companies, including Vanguard Contractors, LP, EG Sierra, LLC, RM Rodriguez Construction, LP, and Chaney-Cox Construction, Inc.
