Description
This contract is an informal Request for Bids (RFB) issued by Cuyahoga County for the preventative‑maintenance, inspection, repair, and emergency services of ten (10) compactor, baler, and dumper machines across six county facilities. The work is a fixed‑price, not‑to‑exceed $200,000 contract lasting two years, with a 30‑day termination clause and a requirement that all services follow the original manufacturers’ specifications. Vendors must be registered with the County Inspector General, and each employee must pass a Sheriff’s background check ($35) and obtain a county badge ($20). Service visits are required at least twice per year per location, with detailed reports submitted after each visit. The county retains the right to add or delete equipment or facilities during the contract term.
