The City of Mobile is seeking a vendor to supply, deliver, install, and anchor a portable/modular building sized roughly 60 ft × 48 ft (≈ 2,880 sq ft) to serve as a classroom and office complex at the Mobile Fire Rescue Training Center (860 Owens St). The building must include two restrooms, eight offices, a large open classroom area, an ADA‑compliant ramp, and aluminum steps. The City will provide final electrical, water, and wastewater connections; the vendor must provide HVAC, hurricane tie‑downs, and all site‑specific anchoring. Both purchase‑outright and month‑to‑month rental options are permitted, with the rental term now clarified to a minimum of one year and maximum of three years (per Addendum). Required documentation includes engineer‑licensed drawings, flood‑zone elevation certificates, and plans stamped by the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission.
