CalWORKs Housing Support Program

The County of San Luis Obispo is soliciting proposals for professional services for the CalWORKs Housing Support Program. The services include rental assistance, security deposits, utility payments, moving costs, hotel and motel vouchers, landlord recruitment and mitigation, case management, housing outreach and placement, and credit repair. The contract was awarded to Family Care Network, Inc. The key points of this contract are: • Rental assistance and security deposits will be provided to eligible participants. • Utility payments and moving costs will be covered. • Hotel and motel vouchers will be provided in emergency situations. • Landlord recruitment and mitigation will be performed to secure housing for participants. • Case management and housing outreach and placement will be provided to support participants in finding and maintaining housing. • Credit repair services will be offered to help participants improve their credit scores.
