Water Meter Test Bench

The City of Tucson has awarded a contract to Mars Company for the purchase of a water meter test bench, startup, accompanying software, parts, and maintenance services. The contract is for a term of four years, from April 22, 2025, to April 29, 2029. The contract includes the purchase of a MARS Series 5-1010 Test Bench System, which can test up to twenty 5/8" or seven 1-1/2" to 2" meters. The system includes a gravimetric weight scale system, an initial year MARS M3 Enterprise Meter Management Annual Subscription Software License, and an Apple iPad for wireless data entry. The contract also includes installation, training, and maintenance services. The total contract value is $549,078.
