P-16015 Architecture and Engineering Servcies

This contract is a Master Independent Contractor Agreement for Architecture and Engineering Services between the Chicago Park District and Booth Hansen LTD. The contract is for a period of one year, with options to extend for an additional period. The Contractor will provide architecture and/or engineering services to the Chicago Park District for various projects. The contract includes terms and conditions for the provision of services, payment, and termination. The contract also includes provisions for indemnification, insurance, and confidentiality. • The contract is governed by the internal laws of the State of Illinois. • The contract includes a provision for the Contractor to waive any right of contribution against the Park District and to indemnify and hold harmless the Park District and its Commissioners, officers, officials, employees, volunteers, and agents. • The contract includes a provision for the Contractor to maintain insurance required by the RFQ. • The contract includes a provision for the Contractor to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules promulgated by any Federal, State, County, Municipal, and/or other governmental unit or regulatory body. • The contract includes a provision for the Contractor to provide experienced personnel to carry out the services in a timely fashion.
