Sparkling Ice

The contract is for the provision of Sparkling Ice products to Charlotte County Public Schools. The contract was awarded to Suncoast Beverages Sales, who was the only respondent to the Invitation to Negotiate and was supported by a sole source letter from the OEM, Talking Rain Beverage Company. The scope of work includes the provision of the complete flavor portfolio of Sparkling Ice. Key points to note include: • The contract was posted on www.PublicPurchase.com on April 11, 2022, and was broadcast nationwide to over 54 companies. • The District may negotiate with the vendor and enter into a contract per Florida Administrative Rule 6A-1.012(12)(d). • Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes.
