P-23008 JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE CENTRAL LAKEFRONT COMFORT STATIONS, BEACH HOUSES, AND SPECIAL USE FACILITIES

The Chicago Park District has awarded a contract for janitorial services to Smith Maintenance Co. and Dust 'Em Clean Maintenance Company, Inc. The contract includes services for the Central Lakefront Comfort Stations, Beach Houses, and Special Use Facilities. The awardees will provide all equipment, fuel, labor, materials, transportation, vehicles, and any/all other services necessary to provide janitorial services. The contract has a two-year initial term with four additional one-year extension options. The total contract amount is not to exceed $1,504,521.64 for the initial two-year term. • The contract includes services for 15 locations in the Central Region Lakefront and 6 Special Use Facilities. • The awardees will provide janitorial services, including daily and monthly cleaning, and deep cleaning services. • The contract requires the awardees to supply their own cleaning supplies and consumable materials. • The awardees must attain an overall acceptable level of cleanliness, as determined by the Chicago Park District. • The contract includes provisions for hazardous conditions and items needing repair to be reported to the Chicago Park District.
