Description
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to determine if any firm is interested in providing playground mulch to elementary schools and if they can provide references that demonstrate their past experience in performing the required actions. The contract involves furnishing, delivering, and spreading Florimulch Playsafe ADA mulch to playgrounds at up to 12 different elementary schools and/or education centers. The budget for this contract is estimated to be between $15,000 and $30,000 annually.
• The contract requires temporary removal and replacement of fencing to gain access to the playgrounds.
• The playgrounds must remain in compliance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's "Public Playground Safety Handbook".
• Firms that have no similar experience shall not be considered "responsible" for purposes of this RFI.
• The contract is for a period of one year, with the option for renewal.
• The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFI document.
