Wharton Weems Entry Sign Construction

The City of La Porte is seeking competitive bids for the construction of an entry sign in the median of Wharton Weems Road. The sign will be approximately 19 feet in length and 9 feet in height, and will include a structural foundation, CMU construction, chopped stone and cast stone veneer, and electrical work. The bid includes the following items: • Mobilization • Structural Foundation • CMU Construction • Chopped Stone Masonry • Cast Stone Masonry • Electrical Work • LED Sign Lighters • Steel Pin Letter Package • Traffic Control per TXDOT standards • Contractor Bonds • Contractor Insurance • General Conditions The bid also includes a pre-bid conference, which was held on September 6, 2016, at City Hall Council Chambers.
